Welcome to TX Conceal & Carry, the firearms training facility that helps you to stay prepared. We help Texans stay prepared with both in-person and online License to Carry (LTC) classes available statewide.

Our certified instructor, Sergio Arellano, will guide you through everything you need to know about:

• Firearms safety and responsible handling
• Gun range safety and etiquette
• Texas laws on carrying and holstering
• Use of force and alternatives to deadly force

Upon successful completion, you’ll be qualified to submit your documents to the Texas Department of Public Safety Handgun Licensing Division.

Sergio was born and raised in El Paso, TX, and is a proud alumnus of the University of Maryland. He is a retired U.S. Army combat veteran with worldwide deployments, including Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His decades of service left him a Disabled Veteran — a title he carries with pride and no regrets.

With over 50 years of firearms experience, Sergio holds certifications as:

• Texas School Safety Instructor
• Texas License to Carry Instructor
• NRA Certified Instructor (Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle)
• Retired Federal Law Enforcement Officer (Senior Supervisory Lead Police Officer)

Sergio founded TX Conceal & Carry as more than a business — it began as a hobby, rooted in his mission to build a safer and better-educated community.

When he’s not teaching, Sergio enjoys time with his wife Patsy, his daughters Lori, Cindy, and Tricia, and his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
